Can a Stock racer enter the same car in the Sportsman bracket race ?
And is the Sportsman race ran in the 1/8th mile or 1/4 ?

This is THE place to be this weekend if you are a racer.

You will be welcomed by a track that appreciates you, and you will be treated like a valued customer and a good friend.

Yes you can run Sportsman. We run Sportsman on 1/8th mile and it is 7.00 and slower Footbrake only.

Thank you for the kind words Alan,

Unfortunately Div.2 Scheduled on top of us this weekend and I know there will be racers that go to Atlanta that would like to be at BG but its almost impossible to pass up the Double LODRS weekend.

We are looking forward to having a beautiful weekend with a lot of great racing!

I'm with Alan on this one. My favorite race of the year at my favorite track!

Broc on Thursday night are they going to stack outside the gate or let people in?

Thanks

My guess is they will probably open the farm gate but hold everyone at the main track gate. That way everyone can stack on the farm road so that we aren't backed up on the county road.

Looking forward to a nice weekend. I bet we have more stock and super stock cars than Atlanta, although I see a few BG regulars in Atlanta. Seems like it would of been in D2's interests to schedule on a different weekend. After looking again the only racers I see in Atlanta that would normally be in BG are Gale Pinkston and Larry Hill.

Beech Bend is my favorite track.

Seems fitting that my first NHRA Stock Eliminator race will happen at the same track (and event) that got me hooked on drag racing 37 years ago at the 1976 Sportsnationals :)

Hope to meet some of you there.

Alan
