Bob Pagano's had me go to his pictures of his 67 Corvette in 1967.

That car if around would fit in todays Pure Stock Rules..

Managed to get a 10.90 out of it back then.

23 Pictures :-)

Dan, it was good to meet you at Richmond. Keep up the good work! A quick note though on my chevelle. This actually is a 1970 model with the 350/ 230 hp factored engine. I originally bought this car for my step son to cruise with, who promptly got several speeding tickets. After a second and last warning from me, a trooper called me after he clocked him at 97mph in a 55 zone!!!........So now I have this pure stocker. I am building a 1972 Camaro Yenko clone D/PS with a 402 engine. Paint and engine are done. I'll get my wife to send you pictures later as I don't have the savy or the patience to do it!

Hey JIM:

Good to hear from you.
I posted a picture of your 70 Chevelle already.
IT is a very clean tight car..

As for the Yenko clone wow !
That is going to be a nice fast ride

Looking forward to getting the pictures.

My daughter Christina is getting her Drivers License soon.
Been working with her on good driving habits.
Which starts with me practicing great driving habits.

Going to send her to BSR at Summit Point for Accident Avoidance school.
She can drive a tick too fast sometimes and needs more focus.
But she is a heck of a lot better than her classmates that have their Licenses.

According to Nitro Joes stats less than a dozen racers raced in IHRA pure stock last year(I/8 mile and 1/4 mile events combined).Looks like that might change this year.
