Tool Box For Front On Open Trailer
OTHER than ebay is there a website that has toolboxes on the front of a open trailer that sells them.
I'm not talking about the Alum. ones that go on the Tongue, but the Bigger Box you put on the trailer itself, right in front of the car. It's prob the whole width of the trailer. Or is it cheaper to make one ?? Thx |
Re: Tool Box For Front On Open Trailer
Pete,
Depends on what size you want ? I have an Alum truck box that goes across the front of my Alum open trailer .. I bought it at TSC store on sale, they carry 10-12 different sizes .. Prices are from $130-450 for the Alum boxes , they also carry steel boxes ? Good Luck & get back to me if you have any questions ? |
Re: Tool Box For Front On Open Trailer
Pete, mine is 6x4x5 feet high. Protects the car from rocks and weather when towing. It was made by Deande Trailers in NJ. I fit all I need in there...
Half on the trailer and half on the tongue which I had extended by 2 feet for the box when it was built. Come by and look at it when we are at the Grove. Shirts are being ordered just for you, lol |
Re: Tool Box For Front On Open Trailer
My brother is a 3xl.
So not just for me ........lol More than likely we'll be at the Grove. I will look at yours though...... What is yours made of Steel, Wood, Alum. ??? |
Re: Tool Box For Front On Open Trailer
Anyone else know of a "Box Man" for an open trailer.
I remember back in the early 70's, Bock Trailers from Ind. were the ticket & came w/ a box or without. |

Pete
A long time ago I had a construction site "gang box" bolted to the tongue of my open trailer. It held the winch & battery and most of the stuff I needed to race. :) |
