D.G. Gillam
D.G. called me this afternoon to let me know his wife Cindy passed away yeaterday afternoon. Quite sudden and unexpectedly. D.G is vey shaken up as you can imagine. He lost Lloyd a year ago Jan. and now this. My thoughts and prayers go out to D.G.. Sad, Sad.The bad part is He and I were just starting a new engine build for the race car. He was getting excited about being out and seeing everyone again.

Talked to him about the motor for the Mustang 2 or 3 weeks ago, can't believe it. Ed let me know whats going on if you will. Prayers and condolences from the Sledge Family.

While I do not know his wife Cindy, I do feel privileged to know Lloyd & DG, both are fine, outstanding men and the type of men who bring honor to our racing community. My sincere condolences to DG and Cindy's extended family.
