Track Prep Vegas

After a few SC cars go down track they are now repreping the track from the start. I can see all the sportsman cars getting bumped to the end of the day. Hopefully it will not turn into a Chandler problem where someone used the wrong stuff on the track. Tom

The track Prep was not very good for the Points race as well as the national event , in my opinion the track used VP and when vp gets cold everyone spins , and just maybe they then used some VHT on top of VP at the national event especially on saturday of the national event .Also there is a tunnel under the track whcih everyone knows about what part gets colder like a bridge . Sunday Morning the track stopped the racing and scrapped the track whcih it seemed to make a difference . FYI

I spun big time at the Points meet so bad it went into third gear , not sure why the track can't have great traction all the time . I think they need a person in charge of track prep only and watch the condition of the track and could make a difference of the condition of the track for their customers so they will always have them returning back to race

They just need to avoid that VP crap.
Cars that need wheel speed don't seem to have any problems with it.

The track can be treacherous for the entire length at times.
Being it was not in good shape at a Divisional and National it will be interesting to see what happens at the big bracket race coming up?
I lived 12 miles from a track in Michigan and boycotted it at times, same situation here.

Re: Track Prep Vegas

One thing to keep in mind is that we were not sure what they were using as there were some VP barrels and VHT barrels , could not smell the VHT but we all know the results of the spinning . The one person who before the Points meet we talked to on the line not sure who he was but I think he worked for the track told us at first it was VP then during the conversion he said they were using VHT or the PT new name for VHT > He said no one was spinning , I told him that the VP just might be ok for a bracket car or a clutch car ( who slips the clutch ) as they don't make as much torque or HP as the cars running right at this points meet also I told him some cars leave soft and don't care about the starting line , not sure if I accomplished any thing as it looked like many cars spun . lol at me trying to make a difference

Don. That is a very fine race car you have and fast too! Hopefully later this year we can set down a bs a little. Coming to Sonoma I hope?
