Wanted: Super Stock 283 engine,parts, pcs
 

Got a friend who is looking to get into SS and is looking for a SS 283 engine.He does not want a real high dollar piece,just a low dollar ,old school engine to get his feet wet.Something that will run a little under the index in ss/la,hold together for a season ,and is low maintenance.Might consider just a short block,or other 283 pcs.PM me with what you have,and the price. thanks Lyn

Know were a 283 is been sitting for years , venolias, stroked crank ect, need one piston ,,,,, Dennis

I have a 283/.060,stock stroke crank, stock rods, venolia 2 eyebrow pistons, 2 sets of 520T heads,they have'nt been ported or polished, all ran in super stock in 1980's, 2 records set. dON'T KNOW IF YOUE FRIEND IS STILL LOOKING, BUT WE HAVE A COUPLE 283 +.030, 520 HEADS, SOLID CAM, DOME PISTONS, WAS LOW BUCK S/S ENGINE. PM IF INTERESTED.
