Sports Nationals @ Belle Rose

If you race or are an avid spectator you owe it to yourself to be part of the Show, part of the Party, or partake in the fellowship and the good time. This place is like Earlville, Iowa, A " MUST RACE"

It is.
It was.
Hope the new owners take note of Pats ideas.

No Problem Is a good time, but I didn't know Pat sold it. I hope it stays like it is. We drive around 15 hours to go there.

Kudos to Pat on his track and the event! I really enjoyed it. Good food, good people and good racing. What more could you ask for? [:-cheers-:]

This race is a lot of fun. It doesn't necessarily have a national event "feel" to it. We met a lot of nice people, and saw a lot of interesting racecars. You'll only see them if you go. Pat is a great host and a very sharp thinker. He is constantly looking for ways to make a great race better. It was well worth the trip. BTW, thanks to Albro for helping us fix the wheelie bars.

P.S. The CIC race is a blast. I used up most of my advantage trying to stay ahead of Jimmy Bridge's 145 mph Corvette bearing down on me! I'd like to run a CIC race again.

Larry,

You mentioned on the other site that there was a stocker there with a new computer program using GPS. Did you find out anything about that?

I can't believe someone hasn't spoken up about your comment yet. What does a racer need a GPS program on their race car for unless, oh I don't know, they want to know where they are on the track relative to their dial-in? I'm not trying to insinuate anything about the racer mentioned, but we don't need to kid ourselves into believing that this technology is not out there being used at the race track. Have you heard how some of the dirt track guys use GPS?

This could be the next big issue that NHRA will have to address.

maybe they need to use the GPS to find the Winners Circle? Or at least where they are doing contingency check?
