Towing Help Needed.

Looking at a couple of different Tow Vechicles.

Any bad reviews on the Chevy 5.7, 6.0 or even the bigger motors ??

The Ford V10 that comes in the Excursion ??

Thanks Guys

Best money spent will be on a Duramax. Lots of power and reliable. Or of you want something a little cheaper you could look for a 7.3 ford. You could get those up to 2002. I owned both and they were very good tow vehicles.

Dodge with Cummins. While Ford screams POWERSTROKE and Chevy yells DURAMAX, Dodge quietly says "Cummins" and ends the argument.

How big of a trailer are you planning on pulling? Gooseneck or bumper pull?

I LOVE my Cummins Diesel trucks, However I tow all the time. IF I was only going to tow a few times a year and then with a light load I would consider a gas rig.

I have friends that tow with the Ford V-10. Say it will pass everything on the highway, EXCEPT a gas station.
