Anybody read the National Event procedures?
The National Event procedures and fees are posted on NHRA Racer.com. The way I read it Competition Eliminator gets 1 Auxiliary Pit vehicle sticker, but it says nothing about other sportsmen getting pit vehicle stickers. Surely this is a mistake! or I read it wrong??

Oh - didn't you know ours are now going to be $50 an event but the good part is you can have more than one
Just kidding but I would not put it past them Ron |
Re: Anybody read the National Event procedures?
If I had to guess, it may be for tow vehicle use (ATV, golf cart, etc) that most, if not all Comp cars use and need. S/SS are not permitted to use them, not sure about the .90 classes.
Then again, with NHRA, many of us quit trying to make sense of them, and their rules, long ago... |
Re: Anybody read the National Event procedures?
Patsy just make sure you get your Lucas Divisional sticker for 2013 for your cart....that should allow you access to all sportsmen pit areas, golf cart parking near the towers/staging, and manufacturers midway during national events. They will mos likely turn you away at the pro pits unless you have a national event support vehicle sticker.
They make me put a national event sticker on my mountain bike each year..yes really. -Karen |
Re: Anybody read the National Event procedures?
What has happened in the past? I just looked at the D-5 pit vehicle registration from last year, and it is valid for all D-5 races except National events.
