How about that Batmobile!

I figured it would bring good money,,, but I never dreamed 4.2 million! Best pi$$ing contest since the GM Futureliner was battled for a few years back. Buyer said he knew he was going home with it,,, must be nice.

I cant believe someone could be so stupid. He must have been on crack along with the idiot who was bidding against him !. I have seen that roachmobile and its a piece of crap. Body work on a stock chassis. George Barris should have kised him. Oh well....a FOOL and his money are soon parted. A guy like that worm spends that much money on a toy and imagine how that kind money could help some of the storm victims in the U.S. Id say most of those people are on another planet. Way to much money at their disposial. Including Rick Hendrick who paid a million for an $80,000 Corvette just beause it had serial number 1.

He wanted it and he bought it with HIS money. What gives you the right to tell him how to spend HIS money.

Terry, I agree with several things you post. But that has to be the most absurd thing you've posted in a while. Especially coming from a guy who claims to be a conservative. No self respecting conservative would tell a guy how to spend his own money that he earned. Further, the proceeds from two of the Corvettes that Hendrick bought went to charity, 100%, there weren't even any buyer or seller premiums charged or collected.

Really Terry, that was not only absurd, but it was really small and petty to call a guy a worm because he chose to spend his money on something he wanted. Sounds like something a liberal would say. I hope you're pleased with yourself.

Re: How about that Batmobile!

I saw a interview with the man who bought it last night. He said he would have spent 10 Million if thats what it took to buy it. He seems to be a big time Batman fan and it was a dream of his to have it. For some of us the dream is to own and race a stocker, super stocker, ect. for some its the Batmobile.
