Did anyone else notice that the new IHRA rulebook has only sportsman class rules? Was that like that last year?

:)...Hey...any logic in this?...just renewed my IHRA membership...and they indeed "renewed" my Funny Car license as well...which I am grateful for...except...there is no funny car...alcohol or nitro...hasn't been for several years... the Nitro IHRA FC "deal" is a booked in by invitation only...the Top Fuel deal is a couple of booked in cars as well...Rune Fjeld many time European Top Fuel Champ...had interest in basing a car here in North Carolina with us in hope of competing in IHRA series...we were told both last and this year...not possible...IHRA I feel is a good smaller venue organization...always makes you feel like they are genuinely glad you are aboard...for sure...however purely sportsman at present...less alcohol classes...Pro Mod etc...:) Drake...p.s.for me...am just as "happy" having the opportunity to race/be competitive...albeit...a W/SA Pinto...or a nitro fuel car...the "ego" ain't too...size "jumbo"...'eh!

They have the supplement on line, which probably satisfies the few non-sportsman competitors in the fold.
