New Camaro to be built in U.S.
 

Our local TV station announced that GM is moving production of the next generation of the Camaro to the Lansing, Michigan Grand River Assembly Plant. Just thought you guys would like to know that both the Camaro and Mustang will be Made in USA Muscle cars, with no offense meant to our Canadian neighbors to the North.

Would've been cool if they'd returned to the original Norwood location but great to see it come back to lower 48.

First Caterpillar/caterpilage to Indiana, then Gm (2015)with the Camaro to Michigan.

Michigan being the latest with the no union required policy.

GM's announcement just before Christmas and two years before the move is HEARTLESS!

They own 15% of GM in Canada and have employment gurantees to 2016 so they may move other models north. A long history of cars built in canada for north america

The Ontario Provincial government and the Canadian Federal government together kicked in 12 BILLION DOLLARS.

And government motors still owes most of that today back to the taxpayers of Canada and Ontario.

They gave a lot to both G.M. And Caterpillar. No worries, once these two corporations feel that the U.S. workers are making too much at their new locations in Muncie and Lansing they will move production to China.

I don't think it matters which side of the border they are built all of us that pay taxes kept them in business I think they could have chosen a bit better time to announce it.
