I just wanted to extend our sincere gratitude once again to the above mentioned as they accomodated us without hesitation last Wednesday to put a motor in our Camaro in the "tear down" barn during the whole parking fiasco so we could race on Thursday. I also want to commend them for great track prep on Friday nite to complete round one of stock/super stock and completing the eliminator on Saturday nite this is a true testament of the Division 1 support of sportman racers and understanding that staying until Monday or even Tuesday wasn't acceptable thank you.

With Director Langs' decision to run Stock-SuperStock etc. Saturday night he could probably run for president of the NHRA this week and win ..................Gutsy call for sure .

I would also like to convey my sincere thanks to all the people responceable for the well run event, under not the best conditions. Running the sportsman eliminators out on Sat. night was a great call.

I'm not usually a fan of nite racing,but this was the right call .
The track prep for me was great .
I heard a few complaints from the S/C dragsters,which kind of suprized me, but I did'nt see any door cars having problems.
Thumbs up to Bob,and the NHRA staff for the whole event!

Great call! Some actual respect for the sportsman racers. I agree it would be nice to finish on Saturday, give a lot of sportsman an extra travel day without using vacation days or unpaid time off from work.

For Sunday, they could shorten the turnaround time for the pro's to give the fans a quicker show, putting a bigger premium on car preparation between rounds.
