4000 ownan runs as long as you hold on starter button down let off button wont keep running i changed button didnt help does same in coach any one had this problem thanks

Most Onan's will not run if they lose AC output and they will do just as you describe. No easy answer as it needs to be diagnosed properly before it can be fixed...

Common problems......Bad brushes and slip rings.....Bad voltage regulator and or a bad control.

thanks rich i have some extra parts ill see if someone around here it had a problem a couple years ago that place charged about 1300.00 to fix it in canfield ill probly call them thanks have aa good day
