"Live" from Bowling Green, KY Div. 3 LODRS
 

Well we should be pulling out shortly! I have had the motorhome ready since our 11:00 am goal of leaving, but of course the trailer and all the stuff that has to go is not quite loaded yet. We have never been to Bowling Green this early before, so I hope they will be open or I guess we will spend the evening in line in the road. I think I read on Facebook that Nitro Joe is there already, so maybe he can give us some updates.

Annoucement on PA Tues.nite that gates would open Thurs. morning. Yes Nitro is there but they wouldn't let him stay inside track Tues, nite, he was going somewhere to spend the nite and then get in line to get back in track. Everone seem to think they will open gates early because of back-up on entrance road.

Well it's 5:17b pm and rigs are backed up to main road .Was told that the track was rented and that we might get in afterwards. That could depend Dallas mood .

Well we are sitting out on the road about 4 or 5 rigs past where you turn to go to the amusement park. We are behind Rick Winchester and Tom Reese. Dallas just drove by counting rigs. They are lined up all the way down the road that goes in to the track all the way up to the gate. We got here about 5:20 and there are already 5 or 6 rigs behind us. Hopefully they let us in before they are lined up to the railroad tracks!

We will see you then, Alan. We are still moving up in line for an hour now. Probably still another 20 rigs in front of us that haven't gotten to where you pay yet.

We are in and parked! Parking in the dark is a little more challenging! But we are here! We saw Redman as we came in. He has a new hairdo this weekend! I will get pics tomorrow!

Sportsmen can park anywhere except the oval. I think that is for Alcohol and Comp.
