What's it gonna take to win FS/S?

With everyone being hush hush about who's jumping into this class, what are the thoughts going around about the ET it's going to take to win. Do we think it's going to take a 8 second stocker????

I'm sure the Factory hot rods can run in the 8's, however, in the real world there is no such thing as an 8 second Stocker.

I understand ur pain but a race car that competes and follows the guide lines according to the NHRA rule are considered STOCK. So with that being said I truly believe that there is a such thing as an 8 second STOCKER.

Technically you are right Joe but it's kind of like calling the Space Shuttle an airplane. Jim

Skillman , Butner , Fezzel and Hollbrook can all run low 8.90 so I think who ever can run in the 8.80's will win

I truly believe that you have truly talked yourself into believing this truly lame dribble. But in reality, it's simply a case of buying off a corrupt organization. Funny thing, though, just a few years ago Jeff was talking about suing nhra and now you guys are all warm and fuzzy with the nhra folks. Have fun at Indy.

No dog in this hunt. My dog is sound asleep in the garage. From the looks of things, he is going to stay there a little longer. Ya'll have fun, be safe.......Jim

Bruce I really feel for you man. It will all be ok just smile =) you are a very bitter person. My father has done a lot for NHRA but I guess you forgot about all that. When we were running our trucks back in 95-99' nobody was complaining of us running 1.20 under and saying that we had underrated hp but I'm guessing that is all in the pass.

And thanks we will have a great time at INDY
