Jimmy Ronzello's 2012 Cobra Jet Completed
 

Jimmy Ronzello's 2012 Cobra Jet was completed several days ago. I have put together a time lapse movie that shows all the assembly of Jimmy's Cobra Jet. Jimmy will be racing his new Cobra Jet at the NHRA Division 3 points meet this weekend at Stanton, Michigan.

WOW-that was way cool, thanks! Interesting to notice everyone wearing heavy hooded sweatshirts at the beginning, obviously winter, and shorts and t shirts at the end, now that it is summer. very cool video.

Killer video George! Was cool seeing the convertable pop in for its make over. A few questions:

In the beginning of the video it seems you guys are building two cars at the same time (2-instrument panels, 2-fuel cells). Is the other car Jimmy's brothers siver car?

Second, looks like a big tire on Jimmy's car, is it a Super Stocker?

The silver car you see in the video is Ralph's Cobra Jet. Both cars were started in January. Ralph's car was completed in April. Jimmy's was also pretty much done then except for the Super Stock engine. Jimmy's Cobra Jet is now set up as a Super Stocker.
MPR did a four link, but left the tubs and stock suspension mount points in it. The car be easily put back into Stock. Besides the time lapse video I also have some construction photos on my website at http://9500rpm.com/jronzello/index.html .
