Live in jackson, sc

Anyone live in Jackson. I know Jim Wahl was going, I think. But is there anyone there that could give an idea as to the size of the fields in SS/S?
Will be there in the AM with camera in hand.
Butch

I'm here Butch! I just posted to the " Is Anyone Going......" post. This place is bigger than I thought, and beautiful! Had steaks on the grill tonight and did some gabbing. Grabbing a shower and going to bed. See you in the morning. Jim

After spending the morning having Brandon Peterson diagnosing my truck, we corrected the O2 sensor issue, and replaced a plug that was showing a misfire on #6. He swapped the coil packs between 6 & 4, and sure enough, about 25 miles later it showed a misfire on #4. I replaced the coil and after finding it still running rough, replaced that spark plug too. It was uuuugly, about half gone. Running decent and made the trip to Jackson pulling in about dusk. Looks like about half the cars of a few yeard ago, the last time I'd been here. 30% chance of rain Sunday. Maybe we can do both races tomorrow and save the time and money.

Saw a potential Stocker at the gas station... ;-) Bought reg for **3.02/gal in Cheraw, SC. "Yay." ?

Always liked the track here, good folks. Looking forward to a busy day tomorrow.

What a nice start to the day. Sunny out 72 degrees. Appears to be a decent turnout. Met Mr. Wahl, nice folks always on the Sportsman side ad to see proud polls Stott. Will post some pictures later tonight. Good luck to all.

Definitely a *pretty* day, although it quickly went from the overnight low of 57 and straight through Butch's reported 72 top 82 already, with projected highs in the upper 80's. Not bad in the shade, with a little breeze going, and they are breezing through qualifying, at the top of the order for Q2 now. As I type, the wind is picking up a little more. Good for us humans! Mostly cross. After Super Stock Q1, yhr air was 82.3F, 46%, 29.71, 2,240' DA.

Rnd 2 of Stock coming up shortly. Got some pics from Q 2 earlier in the day. I'm not sure if the Harry "Underdog" Morgan car is a case of identity theft, grand theft auto, or he's done a LOT of work the the Escort. ;-)

I was in the first pair out in Super Stock, so I didn't see the pairs behind us. Ham Johnson went red in his beautiful and crazy fast SS/IA '67 Corvette, so I'm fortunate enough to pick up his #1 qualifier bye run in the semifinals. Car's been working great and other than pushing through the beams in Q2, been .008, .006, and was just .010 and dead-on. Sticker money and points on tap! :-) I know Richard Mace is still in, but not sure who his semifinal sparring partner will be. Ah, he said Everette Keeseley.

Stock rnd 3,
Phillips over Lambert
Bianchi over Puszyinski
Wahl dead on over Marshall
