"Almost Live" from Belle Rose!
 

This report is "almost live" since it comes first hand from someone who is actually there! This is a report via phone from Jeff Teuton. First of all the scandalous gossip: which isn't actually gossip since it is the truth. This weekend Austin Ford, son of Charlie Ford, diehard Ford racers is actually driving a Challenger! A 70 model in G/SA owned by the Buckners. And another forever Ford racer, Bill McClister is in his new ride, an E/SA Pontiac GTO formerly owned by Jack Matyas! Other news, there were 52 stockers. Everyone got 3 hits today and supposed to get 2 tomorrow. There were problems with the left lane today, with some runs being off as much as 3 tenths. Supposedly that is going to be fixed tomorrow. Also there were lots of problems with fuel check, with lots of racers not passing. In stock, Kevin Helms in A/S is #1 at -1.02, Sam Pouciau is # 2 at -.99. Jeff is back driving his F/SA at -.90 and is #8. Well, more later after my next report. DRC is not there. Don't know if they will be there later or not.

After this mornings session, there are 57 stockers, Helms still #1 now 1.062 under.
And you're right, very strange to see Ford in a Dodge & McClister in a Pontiac.....
Still scheduled for 2 sessions today.

Are they running eliminations today at all? Can't get any info... all 1320go says is "waiting connection from track" and drag race central only has one round of qualifying posted... any info would be greatly appreciated!

DRC doesn't have anyone at track,

Time Trials & Qualifying just about done,

Rd 1 Stock eliminator just called to the lanes.

We will run 1st rd of ALL categories today.

Just herd Big Red took out someone in a B/SA heads up.... Had to do inventory today, but will be out there about 7:00 am in the morning. Will try to do my part with update since DRC is M.I.A.
