Hoosiers or Goodyears

Age old question. Hossiers or Goodyears and why. I need to replace my Goodyear 33x16-15 tubless and often wonder if Hossiers would be better.
Can you run Hossiers tubeless?

I would try a pair of M/T, I switched a couple of years ago on my S/G car and they will last forever or until the rubber is gone. They actually will work good with little or no burn out. The side walls don't give up like the Hoosiers after a couple of years. This is just my opinion!!!!!

Tire brand recommendation/loyality is somewhat class/car specific and regional.

That said, I've tried them all over 20 years and IMO, none better for what I do than Hoosier and I've never run tubes nor do I screw them to the rim. Hoosiers don't leak air.

As to the sidewalls giving up after a couple of years...well I wouldn't know, I go through 2 sets a season, taking them out of service between 125 and 150 passes and the 60 foots are still deadly, varying thousanths from pass to pass.

Been a best of 1.17 in 60 foot to date on Hoosier's 32 x 13.5 Radial slick with my 3144 lb. Firebird.

Fully agree. Up here, where you can start the day at 45 and end it at 85, no tire works better than Hoosiers. Goodyears are too stiff in the cold, and although MTs are good, we have a tough time getting them. Hoosiers, with the great local support, are the choice for many.

Ran them all.
My last Dragster had MT and worked great cold or hot. I sold car with 150 on the tires new owner is still running them.

My Camaro has the MT 3074S tire on it. I take them off at 250 runs and give them away. I really think I could go to 300+ runs on them.

I like the Hoosiers myself also.
