Loose booster in dominator
I have a 1050 dominator with a loose booster. It falls right out if you tip the carb upside down. What is the best way to repair this? It doesn't look damaged. Thanks in advance.

small pin punch and "gently stake it " into position

Re: Loose booster in dominator
there should be a brass tube inserted into the booster through the body of the carb - if it's loose or missing they are easily replaced.

Re: Loose booster in dominator
thanks for the responses guys. Quick update, I dissassembled the carb and there was no tube through the main body holding the booster in place on any of them. I then took a small auto center punch and carefully punched a series of them in the booster and the carb body where it presses in. I then tapped the booster in place and it is good as new.

Re: Loose booster in dominator
They need to have booster pins/ booster stake tubes in them. You can get them from BLP, ask for the .160 ID pins, they are not expensive. I use a 1/4 brass punch to drive them in. You really need them, they set the passage diameter to the booster. It will run without them, but not as well.

Thanks for responding. Why would they be missing? Would someone take them out or do they not come from the factory with them? Who is BLP?
