The Lounge is Dead!
 

Long live the Lounge..... Censorship has killed the interest and the topics are less stimulating. I agree the open hostility was wrong, the visious name calling uncalled for, but those few werent punished, the whole Lounge has been demolished, punishing the freedom of speech by responsible users... Just my humble opinion.
I miss the information others had on political issues and candidates. I miss the fact that Conservative thinking is not FOREIGN despite the media..

I have to agree, I came to the Lounge because of the political view shared, conservative and liberal. The name-calling wasn't necessary, but why punish all for the sins of a few. Feels like censorship, although technically it’s not. I'll check back every so often, maybe they'll have a change of hart.

I miss the political posts too..... but that is the way it is. The ideal of me going to another forum to discuss politics is not an option. Here, we have something in common.......fast cars and racing...and for the most part we share the same political views. But, so be it..... Donna and I will not race a NHRA race until October with our Dart, and the stocker is ready to go for any local $$$$ bracket race. I seem to have more time to spend on the street rod....which is "all Ford"....LOL. and getting a tan around the pool. Guess it is not a bad life after all. BTW, our street rod is a 55 F100 with a SBF and C4....it sounds really fast (but it is not)...I mounted an "under the dash" AC unit under the seat (out of sight) and I am amazed how well it works in the Arizona heat. Life is good folks.

Most of those on here have a mind set. That hard work is how you get ahead in the world.
They don't mind a hand up, but don't agree with a hand out.
With the current events It is hard to state these beliefs without politics coming into play.
There are considerably less people on this forum than in the past.
Some have been totally out of line, on both sides.
The messenger has been killed to quiet the message.
