IHRA CANCELLING WORLD NATIONALS(MANSFIELD)
 

WELL, NOW THAT IT IS OFFICAL WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK. SHOULD THEY HAVE TRIED TO RENT AN ALTERNATIVE SITE? WONDER HOW THIS WILL SIT WITH EVERYONE THAT COUNTS ON RUNNING WHAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN NORWALK UNTIL THIS YEAR. DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ANYTHING IN CONCRETE FOR A DATE FOR 2008? I wish IHRA the best! (as of now things don't look good!) IHRA CALL Dragway 42 & get Div.3 another race! while your at it call Edgewater & see if they'll have a National event for ya! just my .2 cents but Edgewater is a better track to have a national then Milan? World Nationals Edgewater Aug 07! (sounds good)

Hey Greg,now we can the run final NSCA meet in Columbus that weekend!! That was a heck of an event there last weekend. Thanks again for your help.
Nitro Joe and Tony sure treated us Stock/Superstock racers like real people(unlike some other organizations).

Guys I first want to thank all the SS/Stockers drivers that showed up for the NSCA event and yes, I'm now feeling better that there is nothing on top of our fall race at Columbus. I have been keeping a eye on our hometown track (Mansfield, where I'm from) and dust bunnys have been the only thing happening out there as the EPA really has been playing hard ball.
Hope to see most of you before that, remember, go to the nsca-racing.net site and check the schedule for events as Atco will be the next one coming up May 19-20

Rod, what I have read was they are not moving the event at all, its canceled for 07, will be back at Mansfield in 2008, and IHRA will only have 11 events in 07.

IHRA canceling the World Nationals is like NHRA canceling the US Nationals.
