SS/GT Cougars
 
Looking for some information and pictures of some Super Stock GT Mercury Cougars. 1984 to 1989's. Any information will be greatly appreciated .

Jeff Johnson out of the Denver area runs one. The same car Chad Guilford ran with Mark Forbes back in the day.

And I believe the same Cougar campaigned by Rick Yanen from WV in the late 1980's and/or early to mid 1990's.

Toby Torres campaigned a 1984 T-Bird which is similar to a cougar .just a difference in the grill

Actually, that era of Cougar had a different roofline than a Thunderbird. The only such Cougar SS/GT that I was aware of was the "Cougar Jet" entry of Rick Yannen.

the last Cougar made was the Ford Cougar sold in Australia between 1999 and 2004. It was the same car sold in the US as the Mercury Cougar between 1998 and 2002. This body was used for several IHRA pro stockers.
