3rd gen camaro throttle linkage?
I am setting my camaro to run sst & hr. I am running a throttle stop on the carb and want to convert the cable. Can you guys give me recommendations, solid rod or morse cable? Can you post or send pics?
Thanks, Frank |
Re: 3rd gen camaro throttle linkage?
I may not have worded the question properly. I am installing a throttle stop (Biondo PCTS-SH) and the factory cable I believe is not a good choice due to too much stretch for consistency. Do you guys have recommendations, solid linkage or morse? I will only be cutting .3 to .5 ET. If you have done this can you send pics.
Thanks, Frank |
Re: 3rd gen camaro throttle linkage?
I use a inline with a factory cable and CSR bracket with no problems.

Re: 3rd gen camaro throttle linkage?
Ken, are you running a dominator or a 4150? Which CSR bracket do you have? I'm running a 4150 and have a CSR bracket for the snap in cable that I've been using without the t-stop but didn't think that will work. Thanks for the help, need all I can get.

frank, if you are that close to the index, i would just add weight. this can be VERY consistant. and could save you a lot of time and $.

Re: 3rd gen camaro throttle linkage?
I ran a 4150 until last year, but now have a 4500. They do not have a extended bracket for a snap in cable, so I modified mine a little. I still have it if you are interested.
