Weather Center Deluxe - Throttle Stop Use??
 

Does anyone out there have experience using Port-A-Tree's PC Based Weather Center Deluxe with a throttle stop application?

I upgraded to this system from my handheld unit and all the weather data is working great. What I can't figure out is how to get the ET predicition to work with the throttle stop input. They have all the necessary fields and slopes, but it doesn't sem to impact the prediction correctly.

Their tech support is lacking in this area as they are SS racers and no one seems to know how to use the throttle stop settings.

If you have experience with this, please let me know. Need some help..:confused:

Wow.. 300+ views and not a single response. Looks like I chose the wrong weather station setup..

I am looking at Crew Chief Pro and if it will interface with this system. Any comments? anyone??

Crew Chief does not have the weather station on the list of supported weather stations.

For about the same price you can get the Performaire PC which I use with Crew Chief Software just fine.

Unfortunately I have already purchased and have the Port-a-Tree hardware and software up and running... I will give Crew Chief Pro a call...

I spoke with Don at Crew Chief Pro. He is already exploring and interface with the Port-A-Tree weather station (while racing in Vegas!) based on our conversation and the request of a few other racers. I connected the right people, now will keep my fingers crossed...

The Port-A-Tree PC weather system works great for bracket or non-throttle stop racing. Just not for a .90application.

I have a friend who has a weather station like yours. Heard that Crew Chief Pro now works with it. Did you buy a copy and if so how did it work for you?
