Go david barton
9.676 in A/SA with an 09 DP. Rd. #3. 1.324 under for number one slot. One bad hot rod and someone who believes in pushing down on the gas pedal.

Re: Go david barton
And a big congratulations to the next top qualifyers......Don "Flat out" Fezell, Bill Skillman, Keith Lynch, Bo Butner, and Terry Emmons for driving these new cars like they were meant to be driven. No holding back with these guys.

Re: Go david barton
Assuming neither go any quicker this weekend, the 6.1 Hemi will get 22 hp (up to a rating of 426 and become a AA/SA-only) and the '08 330/425 gets 16 hp, up to 491 (already was a AA/S-only).

Re: Go david barton
Heard the other drag pak owners were upset with Barton. I also heard he told them it was his money and he would run the car like he wanted to.

Re: Go david barton
Indy has been a lot of fun this far but I must say that the low point was getting a chance to talk to David and hear about the nasty s*it these Hemi owners said to him over the course of the last two days.

Re: Go david barton
There are racers like David who move the sport forward by pushing a ''new school'' cars and help in making it a fairer playing field for all those who have invested years and $$ in their ''old school'' combos....
Its also nice to see it leave like an ''old school'' car... THANK YOU DAVID...... |
