Drooze
There was a really nice article about Chris in the August 26 National Dragster. Anyone who hasn't read it should.

Re: Drooze
Chris and I spent many an hour talking over the phone about the new DP's. He will be missed for sure. Tomorrow morning at 4.30 am I'm off to Indy and will be in the pit's with his Father David and driver Keith Lynch. Wish Chris was there as well.

Re: Drooze
Thanks for remembering Chris... He is still, and will always be, a big part of the MegaManiac.. And he is missed.
Sincere thanks to Kevin McKenna, and the great photographers at National Dragster, for the very nice article. It is nice to see Chris recognized again for his contribution to racing, and to our car. For anyone who wonders, there is a rumor about that little wisp of dust that you see spin and rise at the end of the track after a car runs here in Indy. Some say it is just dust. But some of us who really do know something about it, are pretty sure that Chris' ashes got loose at Indy. And what you see after a run, is a little bit of Chris cheering them on, and ushering every racer safely to the end of the track. David The New Hemi Guy . |
