Roll call for Jackson, Tn NitroPlate SS/S Combo - July 16th
 

OK folks, the third installment of the 2011 NitroPlate Super Stock/Stock Cobo series is Saturday July 16th at the New Jackson [Tn] Dragway!

Who's up for some down home, Saturday night under the lights fun?!?

The track is centrally located about 1/2 way between Memphis and Nashville.

It features a new laser leveled 285' concrete launch pad and brand new concrete burnout box.
How good is the track surface? Well current record holder Matt Hoover in his GT/TC says he ran better times at the first combo meet than he ever has at Bowling Green!
Amy Faulk has consistanly been -.70 under her current index.
Kenny Bomar and his drop dead georgeous 1969 Camaro 427 A/S, runner up at the 5k combo race at Bowling Green, regularly has his front bumper about 3 feet in the air at launch.
Wade Owens killer M/SA was about -.80 under his index at the last event a few weeks back.

The pits have been expanded with fresh asphalt since the last meet.

David Glidewell, track manager and racer himself, is committed to having a thriving Combo series and has guranteed the purse with $1,000 to win!

I'll be there, if the Lord is willin', and Kevin gets my headers back to me,he said they will ship today so it shouldn't be a problem. I meant to ask but I think Nitroplate comes out and helps re-install headers right! LOL! ! I plan on being at all the combo's at jksn the track is great, guaranteed $, the owner actually called me and thanked me for coming and said he was going to continue to have them, even next year no matter the car count. So with that I want to support all I can. Hope to see a large crowd this Saturday !

Kenny, come on over and take a look at the headers on the green SS/EA 69 Camaro. Then let us know if you'd like us to install yours. I'm sure installation can be arranged. For a fee. :cool:

We don't offer an installation service but I'll be glad to uninstall them just before the finals if we're lined up next to each other:)

i got the headers today, I couldn,t wait on the install team they are awesome ! the nicest coating I have ever seen on a header, just got finished had to jump on them right after I closed the shop , Thanks again Kevin and Nitroplate for a job well done!! see ya sat. nite

Thanks guys. We appreciate you making the decision early and getting on the phone to let us know. We were just getting on the interstate when kenny bomar called to let us know the race was cancelled. It sure is nice to be able to race at tracks that care about their racers.
