They're going to let the Division All Star reps race in the regular race...plus past world champs...like Tatum who I don't recall being on the list previously.

No games there. Jegs Allstars competitors are guaranteed entry into the field in the class they qualified in, even if it's already full. This is probably why the quota was 70, not 80 to begin with. Then you have the normal provisional entries (racers with gold and silver cards and world champions.) who are allowed to enter after the fields are full. It’s better that they enter after the fields are full because that allows the most amount of racers possible that aren’t guaranteed a spot to get entries.

Sportsmanlike...but the more entries the less chance of winning, right?

The past World champs are guaranteed entry....and most of the guys wait till its full before they enter so they don't take anyones spot.....(which is very nice of them)
