No Flooding @ No Problem

Been getting a lot of calls and e-mails from the racers, so I just wanted to let y'all know that the flood waters have never reached our site. The local flood projection is 2 feet above normal, and we are 12 feet above sea level. The swamps will see a rise, but No Problem is built on a ridge, so we should make out OK.

Pat,
what about the roads coming in? We'll be coming in from the west through white castle. Will you keep us up to date if this becomes an issue?

Thanks

RIP

The area roads are built above flood stage, so they should be OK. The only thing you may have to watch for is the crawdads trying to get to the other side... :)

Anyone know if I 49 south from Shreveport or highway 1 south might have flooding problems?

All of the interstate highways are fine, as is highway 1. The only problem spot for racers coming from the south might be around Morgan City area, but all of the roads around here are fine (other than for the potholes).

still seems the logical thing to do is rescedule.you have a lot of local racers who need to take care of homes and family rather than a race.just my 2cents worth
