NHRA/ESPN must be listening!
Much better coverage of Stock and Super Stock from Houston this afternoon on ESPN2! They even showed Hagen Gary's wheelstand in slo-motion!:D

Re: NHRA/ESPN must be listening!
Maybe there is HOPE for NHRA promotional support for the Sportsman ranks after all.... I think it would be a good idea for S/SS racers to notify NHRA and ESPN of their appreciation of the coverage!!!! (And desire to see more...)

Too bad we did not get a heads up prior to it airing
I skipped it figuring it would be the usual alcohol stuff :-) peace |
Re: NHRA/ESPN must be listening!
A suggestion, perhaps it would help to WRITE to ESPN , thanking them for the better coverage and suggesting they might consider airing longer segments on class racers. The half hour afterwards was devoted to top sportsman,so maybe there is hope , if they realize there is an audience for class racing coverage.

Hagen, that is a very nice car. I'm almost embarrassed to park next to you in the staging lanes. Congrats! Please tell your Dad I said "Hi!"

Re: NHRA/ESPN must be listening!
There will be even more coverage of S & SS when they figure out its an untapped market, just wait till its the 60s all over when nhra puts into affect the new classes and the factories really get involved.
