Cleaning a Trophy?
I have several NHRA Class trophies which are becoming "coated",deteriortated , Dingy or dull what ever you would call it. What is the best liquid cleaner for them to restore the bright metallic tone?
Thanks |

Tarnex? My wife uses some homemade concoction of white vinegar, salt and lemon juice.

One well kept secret that jewelers use is plain old Windex. When ladies take their diamond rings and things in to be cleaned, the jewelers use plain old Windex to soak them in. Try Windex. Jim

I second the motion on Windex. For older trophies, use corn starch and water.
