There were several drivers who missed thier win light, and kept their foot in the gas. We even had Ole Bob Dennis get hit on a single. He said, "I thought I lifted early enough!"

Some racers thought it was still a second under, but we announced that because all of the indexes were dropped .30, we adjusted the CIC to .70 under the posted index.

All in all, for a FREE race that paid out $1,400 win; $700 r/u; $250 semi ($2,600 total), it went pretty darn good. The fans loved it!
