IHRA Sportsman Spectacular @ MIR July 8-10 $5000 to win
 

Here it is come one come all $5000 to win in each class.
No excuses NHRA Licenses, and chassie certifications accepted.
Plus a chance to run in the IHRAs Tournament of Champions at the finals at VMP

MIR has a GREAT facility, and there track prep is second to none.

Sportsman Spectacular events will take place July 8-10 at Maryland International Raceway.

The biggest sportsman class race in IHRA history will feature $5,000 to win in each IHRA class and is open to all racers. All IHRA and valid NHRA memberships, licenses and chassis certifications will be accepted. In addition to the big payout, each Sportsman Spectacular will feature national event contingency, an IHRA Ironman and automatic entry into the Summit Racing Tournament of Champions for all winners.

Come on lets do some racing and have some fun while were at it.

Not positive on this one but I think you may have to be an IHRA member to quallify for the TOC. Awesome deal here......just wish it was a little closer to home!

Not sure on that one either, however I would guess it would be worth it to join IHRA if you won the event, to race for the Championship in Oct.

I'll try calling IHRA tomorrow to see how this will be handled.

There used to be a deal that you could run a division race with a NHRA license but you got no points just money.

I never liked that deal. It's a slap in the face to us that pay the money to be properly licensed.

I do like the Sportsman Spectacular though.
$5,000 to win with National event contingency will be a good payday.

Buybacks too. Maybe I can get past first round.LOL
