There will be a meeting March 19 at high noon at Union County Dragstrip to discuss the upcoming plans for combo racing this year. If you want to race local instead of travelling we need to support this.

I'll be racing at Coastal Plains that weekend ($10K/$5K), but count me in if my scheduling permits. I love the track there!

I love that track also. I would love to come down for a few races although it's not exactly "LOCAL" for me....4 hours or so. Maybe try to contact Scott Tilley, he is doing a terrific job with Carolina Class Racers Association and I would be willing to bet he would be interested in having a race or two down there. It would def give incentive for people to travel either way and get more involved in the CCRA.

Just a thought.

We have the open trailer on order, Lambert is tuning up the F250 truck, and we plan to spend many afternoons in Union this year and racing locally. The track's new website is unioncountyscdragway.com. Mike Petrie asked for my contact information at the banquet for the combo races, and the phone numbers are listed on the website for the track. There are many "dust covered" Stock and Super Stock cars in the Upstate of SC and across the line in NC that need to be seen again!

Don't forget the meeting at the track this Saturday. Need to have all the participation we can. Also have another local track interested in doing a s/ss combo.

If you go to union you better have a open trailer.
Cost me several hundred to patch mine after my visit last year.
Nice track though.

The Bobby Warren Stock/Superstock combo race is this weekend at Fayetteville. Might be a good idea to change the date on the meeting. Just a thought...
