That new director is great. If you are a index racer. They get 5 qualifying runs to everyone else's 3.

Wow, the screwing continues.

Easy to get more runs with 8 cars in the class. Stock take an hour and a half....after the tower calls the class 65 times.

Because if you look at saturdays run it says qual #3 but it is really #4 must be a typo and any class that is scheduled to run on saturday always loses a TT because of 1st rd.

Re: Tentative run schedule for Valdosta D2 race...
The issue with the schedule is not with the index classes. The car counts have been real low so they get through their rounds quickly. One of the problems I see for the valdosta race is not starting until noon. The other 2 races that we already had the runs started earlider than that. Both previous races ran real smooth until the alchohol cars started dumping all kinds of fluids on the track. We will be lucky to get 2 hits on Friday and one on Saturday.
Actually up to now the new division director has done a decent job. The car counts have been way down so that might be why it seems to be moving quicker. We will see at Valdosta there should be a pretty good crowd there wit the Gators the following week. This schedule sucks. This will be the 5 race in 6 weeks then add in the Gators and that will be 6 races in 7 weeks. Brutal!! Luckily I hit for some cash at Immokalee and Gainsville. |

One of the .90 racers spotted this....may be a Friday/Sat race....
SOUTH GEORGIA RUN SCHEDULE UPDATE In light of the current forecast for Sunday in Valdosta, Georgia and the fact that many of our racers will be attending the Gatornationals the following weekend SGMP and NHRA are currently revising the run schedule. Be prepared to contest this weekend's Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event on Friday and Saturday if neccesary. The goal is to not run on Monday. Participants should be prepared for time runs and qualifying to be trimmed. |
