Herman Lewis Passes
 

I just learned that Herman Lewis died this afternoon. He passed away at his home in Prosperity WV while under hospice care. Herman, a personal friend was a long time AMC superstock racer who was well liked and will be sadly missed . I willl post arrangements as they are made available.

So sorry to hear this. Herman was a exceptional individual. He was a superstock racer who raced AMC and unlike other brands most of the performance Herman got out of that car was from his own engineering and his design of performance parts. He was a strong racer and a gentleman to everyone he met.

Friends and family may attend viewing from 6-8 tomorrow Eve. at Blue Ridge Funeral Home located on Prosperity Rd, Beckley WV 25801. The funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 on Thursday. Herman was 73 when he passed and is survived by four children. A son Bill and daughter Susie who live hear in Wv and two other daughters whom I do have never met who live in NC.
Knowing Herman he is probably redesigning the Pearly Gates as I type this memo.
