Live from Las Vegas

We are here in beautiful and sunny Las Vegas for the National Open, T-n-T, bracket race, etc etc....

Current air is pretty good for here from what I am told. 51 degrees, 26% humidity, 28.16 barometer, 1620 feet.

Cars are really starting to come into the pits, we don't start until 11 am. I will try to take some pictures and get as much info as I can to you.

They called Alcohol cars and Pro mods - and no one is moving, so I guess not many here. I don't see any cars in staging. We are supposed to start in 50 mins. Air Force is busy practicing - very very cool! Our tax dollars at work, but an awesome show for us here.

That is one of the fun things about the track, the daily Air Force display. Just awesome.

There's a combination you don't see every day! I'd be paying a lot more attention to the barometer than the DA.

Yeah, I thought it was worth noting as well.....we will see what it is when we go up. Had to change starters already - welcome back to racing! ;)

Ok, we got two runs in, and though there are a fair number of cars here, the track has had a lot of quiet time due to no one going down. Infact, someone from the track just came by our pits to tell us we can take more than three runs if we want to. We weren't supposed to get more than three. Cars are going down, but not consistently. Don Kennedy had some trouble in the waterbox, not sure what's up with that but hopefully he figures it out.

I am trying to post our videos on youtube but it's taking a very long time today for some reason. If I can get some up I will post a link. I am not sure if live video is up from here or not, Jeff Foster didn't know if they would be here. Glad 1320 is working.

Jack, It's very cold at home, quite happy to be here! Bob, I will you a jackpot or two to hit next week. Wish the PS testing was this weekend, I was bummed when I found out it was going to be next week. Oh well....

Ok, we are back to the room. We got a total of 6 runs today! Wow!

Div. 7 was especially friendly, helpful and just all around wonderful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even coming to our pits to invite us up to make as many runs as we wanted.

Not as many people participating in the tnt as I would expect, especially considering there were quite a few rigs pitted, lots of quiet time on the track. But folks like Mark Faul were there and didn't run it. I think we counted about 18-20 stock and superstockers there, but a lot of people were pulling in as we were leaving.

I put a couple of the runs on youtube. Here's a link to one. Nothing exceptional, but we were happy!.

Hope to see more of our West Coast friends here tomorrow!
