IHRA info.

So now that SIR is IHRA we are looking at the class racing info for IHRA. I cannot find anything on IHRA's horsepower ratings or accepted rod list. We also just spent a whole bunch of money on a set of piston's that are legal with NHRA but are not on the accepted list for IHRA so I was wondering if anyone has gone through the process of getting a piston on the list and knows who would be best to contact.

thanks for the help

Contact Mike Baker National Tech. Director. Its easy to get one accepted and if its on the NHRA list its is OK for IHRA also.

Re: IHRA info.

Danny Waters is probably on the way home from working the Palm Beach race so if nobody else knows the process I'm sure he'll respond when he gets back home. He is great about all tech questions concerning IHRA and responds to anything smacking of IHRA in the subject line.

Bummer on their low car counts this weekend. Hope that improves. We need a strong IHRA.

Oops, see that Terry responded at the same time; he's right on that Baker is the guy that has to deal with it eventually, Danny may know your piston is already approved and knows the HP ratings, etc.

I think if the top of the piston's right in IHRA it's cool.
