Bowling Green combo at the Sports Open

I have it on good authority that BG is thinking about a $5,000 to win combo race the Sat. of the Open,Memorial day weekend. It would be $100 entry fee and pay maybe through quarters. What do you all think? Would this make people come that normally wouldn't?
