I'm going to try to make it. My car is in pieces right now. No motor, trans, rear end etc besides that it's ready to go. We give NHRA alot of grief on here, but this is a good thing being done. Ed

It is now safe to say that the 2011 Drag Racing season has arrived and we hope you are as excited as we are about the upcoming NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Texas Sportsman Challenge at the newly renamed Royal Purple Raceway, March 4-6, 2011.

Our commitment to NHRA Sportsman racing is at an all time high and we are thrilled to host not just one, but, two NHRA South Central Division events, the second of which is slated for September 16-18th. It is safe to say that the road to the NHRA South Central Division Championship will run directly through Houston!

In our continued efforts to better accommodate all of our racers, crew members, and fans, we are implementing several additional programs to streamline your pit gate entry and increase spectator attendance throughout the weekend. These measures are:

Early Bird Racer/Crew Registration: Royal Purple Raceway will offer all racers/crew members participating in the March 4-6 event a pre-registration discount. This offer is available by calling Royal Purple Raceway at (281) 383-7223 or by downloading the registration form from www.RoyalPurpleRaceway.com.

The Early Bird Registration Discount will expire on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 21, AT 5:00PM CST. (Full payment required for discount)

RACER TECH CARDS: $135.00 Advance Only(Save$25)$160.00(gate)

CREW MEMBERS: $45.00 Advance Only (Save$10) $55.00 (gate)

Complimentary Spectator Tickets: Upon completing your Early Bird Registration we will mail you 10 complimentary Saturday spectator tickets for you to distribute to your sponsors, family members, and, or friends. Additional tickets may be requested in advance by calling our box office at (281) 383-7223. (These tickets are valid only at the main Spectator Box Office and are not valid for admission through the Racer gate located at Gate 1)

I thought your roll cage would not pass tech. Will you be home on Monday the 24, I need to stop by and get my headers while I'm in Austin.

Houston also did this last year. Great for them. You would think with a medical problem that Houston would allow for a refund. Last year I paid for two cars and my daughter went to the hospital. Asked for a refund but no deal. That's ok I know that I have always supported NHRA and Houston. I will pay when I come thru the gate.

as my 3 cameras will allow.
