Oil Pan Question

1 Attachment(s)
Recently finished my LTI short block on my project car. Need some help with an oilpan question:

Are most running the stock pan with their own windage tray or aftermarket pans? Im assuming scrapers are legal and if so, would that be a benficial option. This is my first attempt at building a stocker and would like to get it right the first time. Thanks for any help, as I appreciate it. Looking forward to seeing you at the track next year.

Re: Oil Pan Question

i cant speak for the chevy guy's but i have done a lot of work in the bottom half of the engine oil pan area and it has been worth the effort ,4.5 quarts in the pan with no oil presure loss at 6750 rpm at the 1320 line,i also run a accusump just for back up and cold starts but oil presure never dropped to set the accusump to come on gmonde
