Is s/st the only change for next year, and do we have to run a divisional before we enter a national or can we use our points from other classes

Can't see how grade point system would change by eliminating the Scotty rule...

I think.....in the past you couldnt use your grade points from other classes for super street...not sure how it works now......I will check.........Mick...

you can use s/st grade points for all classes , BUT you cannot use S/G,S/C or any other grade points for S/ST.

Rock, what's to check? See my earlier post, this is straight out of the NHRA rule on grade points: "...Super Street, Top Sportsman and Top Dragster drivers must earn grade points within the category to be eligible for National Event competition.". Eliminating the Scotty rule should have no bearing on it.

The Scotty rule was enough of a change for this year.Keep the grading points the same as the rule book for now.
Don't want to knock the people that run S/ST now out of chance to run a National event with the points they have already earned. My .02
