Drag Strip Landing at NPR
Something different on our drag strip. After I landed on the track, my buddy who was along to bring my plane back to Gulf Shores begged me for the opportunity to make a landing on the track. Carolyn Cartwright hopped in the back for her first flight in a small plane.
The video of the takeoff and landing was made by a student pilot riding in the left front seat. You get a good bird's-eye view of the track & pit area. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFhGqICpN6I |

Re: Drag Strip Landing at NPR
It is a stall warning device that let's you know that your plane is almost too slow to fly. Sort of like a Matie Box that warns you about breaking out. :)
