2011 Camaro R.A.C. owner notification

In response to the Ford and Fiat 'package' Stock eliminator cars, Chevrolet has begun the notification phase for selected owners of the 2011 Camaro R.A.C. (Race Any Class) package cars.

In a unique melding of cars and art, Chevrolet has partnered with author Dan Brown of 'The DiVinci Code' and 'Angels and Demons' book fame to make sure these cars get into the hands of what Chevrolet has termed : "....deserving individuals."

The individual production number of each owners car will appear in the frosting on Pillsbury Toaster Strudle as they cool after being removed from the toaster. For those lucky 52 owners, we can only imagine the emotional effect as a numeric slowly takes form. Forget about all that Shroud of Turin and Dead Sea Scrolls stuff...we're talking real science here, boys and girls.

The Strudles must not be eaten, but should be popped into the freezer immediately. Authentification of the Strudles can be done by presenting the frozen Strudle to your local Chevrolet dealer. A non frozen or partially eaten Strudle may result in that number R.A.C. being crushed, so be aware.

The R.A.C.'s are unique in that they come with a 'real' 650 h.p. ZL-1 motor from the '69 Camaros and Corvettes. No foo-foo electronic geegaws...we're talking a real meat and 'taters motor. The R.A.C. designation indicates that the car is shipped with several dozen V.M.W.'s in the truck. The V.M.W.'s (Vinyl Motor Wraps) can be heated to form a shrink wrap around the ZL-1 motor, thus giving it the appearance of anything from a 2.2 Flex Fuel 4 cylinder on up the horsepower scale.

Hence, the Race Any Class designation.

B/SA getting a bit tough? Heck..just get out the hair dryer (not included), grab a V.M.W. and presto! Now you're slugging it out with the 273 Belvedere wagons in U/SA!

The first two notificants were Steve Koppien of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Dan Weise of Luverne, Mn. That these two towns are only 30 miles apart may cause a few in the scientific community to raise an eyebrow, but Dan Brown has assured them that it's simply the result of Statistical Process Control and nothing more.

No word yet on what flavor(s) Steve or Dan had.......
