Pre 60 Stockers
 

Only the 1955-59 cars currently in the classguide (Chevy and Cadillac) will be allowed to run Stock. I talked to NHRA this week and they have NO plans to put any other makes back in the classguide. I mentioned that all they would have to do is reprint some old pages that they had in the old red book. They said that is not going to happen. Bummer!!!!!

Seems like it was a little smoke and mirrors to put out the flames of the call for a fair factoring of the "enhanced" new cars.
Does anyone else notice the decisions coming out of Glendora and the US Congress sort of mirror each other?

Well, that's just great! I just came in from the shop after putting my 9 x 30 slicks on my '56 Hemi Chrysler 300 B and had to read this! :mad: :mad: :mad:

I remember some FAST blown '57 Fords, would be kinda neat to see them again!

Yes....I had the specs on the engine and sent them to the guy who asked. I wish I had kept my old "RED BINDER" class guide and could get my other engine spec book back from Daune Eiskant.
I will be at the PRI show Thursday and Friday. Maybe Saturday.
