WARNING.........A V-10 engine with open headers really sounds weird. The Stock and SS crowd will find out next year. You're not gonna like the sound.

Sounds weird for sure, the Teuton's had one out a few years ago. The Doctors car, it sounded god awful !

But it ran 9.20's @ 148 with a stock computer, 9 intires, and fuel shut off @ 6500 rpm with a 3.55 gear and a 727 t/f, no protrans. Not bad for country boys. It don't sound bad, just different. The challenger has the exhaust under the car, not out the side like the Doc's viper, so it won't be so loud. You gotta love it. Wait till 2012. There is more coming.

Hey Dave, you looking for a V-10 maverick engine, I saw one under the Brooklyn bridge last week.

I will sell you either one for a good price.

10 pistons instead of 8
10 connecting rods
20 roller lifters instead of 16
20 Pac valve springs etc...
20 Jesel Rockers
20 pushrods
2 extra header tubes
etc.....
the extras of everything have to add up $$

How about a Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 from a WWII P-51 Mustang Fighter Plane in a 55 Chevy...... check it out
