Veteran's Day
Tomorrow, we are immersed in a variety of activities, work, family racing at Pomona, but first and foremost, it's Veteran's Day.I wish to thank all of you who served our Country and the people in it for all the sacrifices you made. It's never easy to serve, but you gave and keep on giving. I want you to know you are appreciated. You are God's gift to your nation and it's inhabitants. Thank you,one and all.

Re: Veteran's Day
Veteran is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check
payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including their life. That is beyond honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact. We have what we have today "FREEDOM" Thanks to the Veteran's |

Re: Veteran's Day
FREEDOM IS NOT FREE
The Soldier’s Sacrifice Former Georgia Senator and Governor Zell Miller had a stirring speech about the sacrifice of soldiers: “For it has been said so truthfully that it is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the agitator, who has given us the freedom to protest. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, serves beneath the flag, whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives that protester the freedom to abuse and burn that flag.” Author: Christy Rakoczy ARTILLERY ADDS DIGNITY TO WHAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE JUST A VULGAR BRAWL |
