Need Help To ID This Mopar
 

Can anyone help identify the owner/operator of this division 3 '80 Aspen wagon super stock? He's become quite a hero to the gang on the F-body Mopar site. Not bad for what one magazine called "the worst car ever built".

I`ve never seen this car, but by checking my "Nitro Joe Stats" book, it is driven by a Dale Meers, and has run 11.3 with a 318.

If memory is correct, that is Dale Meers out of Buffalo, Ky. IAt one time it belonged to Rick Fuller,and may still, just not sure.

I had an 4-door '80 Aspen slant-o-matic that I raced once when my Dart street/strip car was broken. The Aspen ran a "best" of 20.24 seconds !!!!!!!!!!!!! It was quite a ride!!!!!!! Would have made a great stocker with a 318 though.
